I inherited a ton of baby yarn and my friend has a charity. I am up to 10 hats already. AND this really cleared up my issues with granny squares, which has been on my list for years! Hi! What about yarn tension and quality of yarn. Does that have an impact on the shape even if the number of stitches are proper? I feel like I need to iron mine as they wrinkle 😅

If you’d like it bigger, I did another row of 2dc in 1 stitch, 1dc in stitch and repeat. Then followed with the single crochet !

Is the tulle 6 inches wide?

You are my savior I was working on two scarves for my parents anniversary, and when I began my first one immediately began becoming a triangle I started over it’s not for a moment, but then became a triangle again, and I was so confused and I was crying in the middle of the night and I told my sister and she said it’s OK but it wasn’t an OK and I looked up videos on what else I can make them and I found this video and I then realized how dumb I was. I thought you had to skip your first stitch away from your hook whenever you were doing a new row but that’s just for the second row so I’m an idiot

I just figured out the basics to be able to crochet other things, but being able to make these would be super convenient! I really like the way you make them. My problem becomes like this when i change colours/add more colours. Right after i changed back to the main colour, the size turns back to normal. Soo my work eventually becomes like an hourglass 😭 anything i can do to fix this??

thank you very very much for this, the large hook and yarn made it obviously apparent what i was doing wrong :) a lot of the other videos i was able to find people are either moving too quickly or are using small tools that not very well zoomed into.
